Walk of Honor

We are extending the Cameron Donation Drive for the Wounded War Foundation for tomorrow (THURSDAY). This is a friendly reminder to wear your Lt. Cameron shirts from last year, your Patriotic Frey Shirt, or wear red, white, and blue on FRIDAY. We are also inviting our parents who would like to come and join us for the "Hero's Welcome Walk of Honor".  We are asking that parents stand in the lobby so that classes are not disturbed.

Rachel’s Challenge/Save It Forward Food Drive

So far we have had a wonderful response to our food collection for needy families here in Cobb County. We will continue to collect boxed and canned food until the 100^th day of school (Jan. 27^th), so please keep those donations coming! For each donation a student brings in, they receive a link to add to our Rachel’s Challenge Chain for their act of kindness. Thank you for your generosity!

Supply information

Dear Parents,

When devising our school supply list for the current year, we tried to be very cautious in asking for supplies. Each school year all grade levels combine a few supplies to one central storage area. With the rapid change in weather, we are finding ourselves in need of a few community school supplies. It would be greatly appreciated if each family could send in some Kleenex, Clorox Wipes, Ziploc Sandwich and Snack size bags.

I still need pencils also!

Where are my pencils going?

I can't believe I am already running low on pencils! If anyone can donate some it would be greatly appreciated! If they are going home, would you please send them back?

I did have to mark many agendas today from our trip to see the Orchestra. They talked through most of it and I find that very disrespectful to those around them.

Tomorrow night's homework will be to get on Study Island and do math practice. All I need is parent's initials to show this was completed. Thursday night's homework will be to get on and do some science practice. We are taking midyear assessment just to see how they are doing. I will not be taking them for a grade, but it will show me how they are doing and what I need to work on!

Next week on Tuesday we have our Spelling Bee! It will be from 8-9. Amaya and Kendyl will be representing our class.

Don't forget the last day before break is the 22nd, not the 23rd. This will be the day of our holiday party. We will begin celebrating at 8am!
