Second Week

I guess I see how much I do my posts at home! My internet is still down at home. I am hopefully going to get it taken care of this weekend!

Homework tonight is math workbook page 4 and study for spelling test tomorrow. I will make sure next week's homework and spelling is posted on my blog!

 

Boy Scouts and other information

I enjoyed talking with everyone last night. It is going to be a great year!

The Boy Scouts information that was sent home was incorrect. Please throw away. Will get correct information out soon!

Newscrew applications are due this Wednesday, August 24th. The date on the sheet says the 17th, that is incorrect.

First Day

I enjoyed meeting all of you on Thursday! Looking forward to a great school year!

Please bring school supplies on Monday. We will spend some time organizing, labeling, and storing!

The first week can be very hectic. Please make sure to send in a note if your child is going home a different way then you originally told me for the first week of school.

I am sure there will be plenty of information going home next week! We will begin homework the second week of school. Next week we will establish our routines and get back into the swing of things! We will also begin spelling the second week of school.

I update this often to please check every week! I try to make it brief!!

Fifth Grade Supply List and Supplies needed for Smith's Class

• 3 packages white wide-ruled paper
• large sturdy pencil bag
• two packages #2 wooden pencils
• 2 colored grading pens (green, red, or purple)
• Multi-pack LARGE glue sticks
• 24 pack colored pencils
• 1 pack 3X5 lined index cards
• Thick black sharpie marker
• 1 package highlighters
• scissors
• 1 package of 3X3 sticky notes (post-it)
• Thin tip marker
• 1 (4 pack) Expo Dry Erase markers
• 5 single subject spiral notebooks
• Paper towels

 

 

Additional Supplies Needed for Smith’s Class

• 3 pocket folders – red and any other colors or designs
• Girls – antibacterial hand soap
• Boys – hand sanitizer
• 1 plastic accordion pleated/expandable folder with no more than 5-6 dividers (this will replace the binder this year)
• Extra pencils (I ran out last year right before the CRCT!!)
