Giver Webquest - When you get there, go to after activities - you are doing the one about jobs. The link won't work though so you will need to think what jobs you might be good at and why. I have a sheet that breaks it down too if you need it.

Report Cards

Report cards will be sent home on Thursday.

CRCT will be here before you know it!

Right now we are going through all the information for science and social studies. After the CRCT I will teach them more in depth and use the experiments. Right now I just need to cram them full of information!

Keep up the Study Island! Our class is way in the lead but I don't want to lose it! I could really use a beach day!

5th Grade Panoramic Picture

The whole 5th grade will take a panoramic picture together on March 21, 2011. Please send your child to school Monday with their class shirt. Envelopes went home today if you would like to purchase one for $15. The money is due the day of the picture.

Slide Show Pictures

Mrs. Crowe and Mrs. Brandon are working on the end of the year 5th grade slide show. Mrs. Crowe is asking that you send your favorite candid of your child at a younger age. Also, if you have pictures from this year, send them on a CD with attention 5th Grade Slide Show.

A few things...

Boosterthon money first count is due March 17th. Please get those pledges in! We will have Crazy Day if they can get all the money in!

Please send in the book orders by Wednesday. If you don't want to order extras that is fine. I still need the form though. Just fill out the bottom part - student name, your name, email, check no, and then sign. You cannot get the free book unless I get these back.

This is the last week of the 3rd nine weeks. All 4 AR books are due by Thursday. I am not letting them wait until Friday. Thanks for your help with this.

There will only be 3 AR books for the last nine weeks. The last few weeks get crazy, so please do these early.

Parent Meeting

Don't forget about the end of the year parent meeting tomorrow. It is a meeting for those interested in helping us get everything together for the end of the year activities. If you can't make it and want to help, just let me know. There will be a sign up sheet tomorrow for the different things we need. These can include setting up for things such as the luau and awards ceremony.

Because of rain the Boosterthon Fun Run will be in the gym. Ours will be from 12:00-1:00. Our lunch is at 11:10.

End of 9 Weeks

Next Friday marks the end of the 3rd 9 weeks. The 4 AR books are due on March 17th. They cannot wait until the 18th to do this. Please make sure they get finished. Remember books must be from different genres. They may not do 4 short non-fiction books. They have known about this all along!!
