We really enjoyed our field trip to Pine Mountain Gold Museum. The boys and girld hiked, watched a video and toured the museum, and finally panned for gold and received a bag of rocks. It was a perfect day for a field trip. Thanks to Stephen's mom and Karissa's grand dad for accompanying us on the trip.
November is a very busy month.
The Frey Junior Leadership students will be attending Rachel's Challenge at the Dome on Friday morning.
Next week, the third grade feast for Thanksgiving is on Wednesday, November 16. Mrs. Pirro's class will eat from 11:10-11:40. An orange form came home. Please complete the form and return it by Friday if you would like to join your child for the Thanksgiving feast. That form is your reservation.
November 18th, Friday, is our third grade Market Day in the afternoon beginning just before 1 o'clock. Make sure your student is prepared. Those who bring an item to sell will be allowed to go and shop for the first 15 minutes while those who did not bring anything help man the booths. After that the owners return to sell their own goods for about 10-15 min. and then they can hire people to work for them and take turns shopping. Parents are welcome to come and help! It is really a lot of fun. Have your child bring in a large bag for putting their purchases into. If you have a reusable "green" bag that would be perfect! If not, a "large" paperbag or some plastic Walmart or grocery type bags. I am still waiting on about 7 proposals. Please try and get those back to me by this Friday.

Online prepayment is now available for parents to pay their student's daily fees and registration fee!

Save it Forward
In conjunction with Rachel's Challenge we will be participating in a program called Save It Forward. For each can or box of food a student brings in for this worthwhile program, they will get to add a link to our class "Chain of Kindness." We will collect goods through the 100th day of school (Jan. 27th).
