Last minute reminders!!

 

I cannot believe how quickly summer break is approaching us.  As we prepare for the last day, I wanted to send some reminders and new information to you.

 Monday, May 23rd:  Sports Day:  your child can wear a uniform or favorite sports teams’ uniform.

 Tuesday, May 24th:  Beach Day:  wear shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, sunglasses, and bring a towel.  (Please, no bathing suits and you can pack tennis shoes for recess and P.E.)

 Wednesday:  Popcorn and Movie Day:  Last day of school.  Please remember to NOT send in backpacks, lunchboxes, and/or non-disposable water bottles on this day.  If your child would like to bring his or her lunch, please pack the lunch in a disposable bag.

 Reminder:  Tuesday and Wednesday, your child will be released at 1:30.  Lunch will be from 11:20-11:50 both days.

ONLY 13 DAYS LEFT!!!

Math Day:  A big thank you to all of the parents that volunteered to help at our first grade Math Day.  The students had a good time participating in activities that reinforce our math concepts.  It was a huge success due to our wonderful volunteers.   

Cultural Arts Day: Frey will “Celebrate the Arts” next week.  First grade will have the opportunity to see different artists showcase their talents and crafts on Wednesday, May 11.  Our lunch time will be from 10:48-11:18 am on Wednesday and 11:20-11:50 am on Thursday. 

Lunch: There will no lunch charges allowed the last two weeks of school. 

Media Center:  May 6 is the last day for students to check out books.  All library books should be returned to the Media Center no later than May 13.

Early Release Days:  May 24th and May 25th, students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM.  Please do not have your child bring a lunch box or back pack the last day of school.  He or she may bring a bagged lunch or a labled water bottle if needed.  Thanking you in advance.
