Dear Families,
In your child's Homework Section, he or she has a stapled packet (3 pages) and a Words Their Way sort that we completed in class today. Your child's homework for this week is to study for his or her spelling test (using the sort), non-fiction text features test, and sun, moon, and stars science test. All three tests will be given on Friday. Please note that we are still covering a few of the concepts early in the week. I wanted to give you the study guides in advance so that you would have more time to help your child prepare. As always, thank you for all you do!
Also, your child's Monday Folder came home today. This is the first Monday in five weeks that we have had school (crazy, huh). Please be sure to remove all graded work, sign any papers that received a 1, and return the folder with your child.Thank you!
Last, please remember that this week is the final week to bring in canned goods for our Pay It Forward canned food drive. Our goal is 100 cans by the 100th day of school which is this Friday (1/27). We are 10 cans from our goal. Please help up reach our class goal! Thank you!
