Dear Families,
Happy New Year! I hope that the beginning of 2012 has brought you new inspiration and determination! I always love the excitement of a new year and the hope that it holds! I am anxious for the second half of the year with my students! Please remember that Monday, January 9, is a teacher workday. Students return to school on Tuesday, January 10. Report cards will be sent home on January 13th. We will be starting on the third nine weeks curriculum when students return (hard to believe). There will also be some changes in some of the activities we will be doing both in and out of the classroom as we work toward preparing for the transition from second to third grade expectations. These next five months are sure to be learning-packed and full of academic growth! Hang on . . . it's going to be a crazy ride!
