Frey Elementary School opened its doors in 1996 in response to continued growth in northern Cobb County. Frey serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Aside from modern, multipurpose classrooms, the school features a gymnasium, three playscapes, cafeteria, separate art and music classrooms, a computerized media center, and state-of-the-art computer lab. Thanks to SPLOST dollars, our school is also equipped with 21st Century Technology that includes LCD projectors, SMART Boards, Student Response Devices, and Interwrite Pads.
The school is named after John Steve Frey, Jr., a local citizen who made significant contributions to the development of Cobb County. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Frey served as a board member for Cobb County Schools and was committed to quality education for all children.
