The students have been working so hard. They rocked the Math test today and we played some really fun games to show off all we have learned. Next week we will be working on adding and subtracting decimals. PLEASE SEND IN A GROCERY BILL WITH YOUR CHILD BEFORE MONDAY.
In Guided Reading, we are exploring how point of view can really change a story. That carried over into our studies about what drove the North and South apart. Mrs. Roper got to be the North because I thought I just couldn't pull off the part!
In grammar we now know that there are two sides to every sentence... the subject and the predicate. There is a simple, complete, and sometimes even a compound one of each!
We are sharpening our letter writing skills before we start writing to our pen pals. The students are still writing the script for their movie production. This is very popular and Mrs. Roper even found a site that allows us to produce like professionals.
We are trying to work out the technical difficulties of posting our movie from Movie Maker. Please be patient.
