Hi My Kindergarten Families!
A kindergarten story I have to share . . . as we were in line to leave the media center Friday, I realized that this would be the last time the children check books out as kindergartners. As I shared this information with the children their eyes were wide with excitement for first grade! I on the other hand was so proud yet so sad. It has been a thrill to be with your children each day and watch them grow and succeed in so many ways! What a fabulous year it's been! A year to treasure!
As much as I try not to think about the end the year, it's time to share up coming and end of the year dates.
Friday, April 16th . . . Last day to check out media center books
Friday, April 23rd . . . PTSA Meeting and Movie Night (6:00pm)
Thursday, April 29th . . .Relay for Life Volley Ball Game! Frey Teachers vs Pickets mill Teachers (Location: Allatoona High School. Time: 5:00-7:30pm) This is a fun, exciting and fabulous fundraiser for Cancer!!!
Friday, April 30th . . . All media center books due
Friday, May 7th . . . 2009-2010 Kindergarten Class presents it's End of Year Singing Program (8:15-9:00am in the cafeteria)
Thursday, May 13th . . . will be a day filled with lots and lots fun!!! We'll begin with our Class End of Year Crawley & Tucker Program and Breakfast! This is our End of Year Class Celebration!!! *Time: 8:15 am *Location: Cafeteria and then we'll transition to our class room for breakfast treats. At lunch, it's the Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade Picnic and Tug of War with our PE teacher Mr. Cool. (More information will be coming home at a later date.)
