We have successfully completed another week! We really accomplished a lot!
For next week:
Math - Rounding and estimating values to the millions, using estimates in addition and subtraction
Spelling - continue work on Sort 1 with a final assessment on Friday 8/28
English - Complete and Simple subjects and predicates
Reading - continue with our study of fiction and nonfiction genres
Science - focus on clouds and precipitation and how they are formed.
A couple of reminders:
- Movie Night was moved to this upcoming Friday the 28th
- Coat Hanger Book Reports due September 2nd
- Open House September 3rd
Please continue signing your child's agenda nightly. If you see a subject area that is highlighted, that means your child did not finish class work in that area during the day. The work should be in their OSCAR binder and needs to be completed that night and handed in the following morning. If it is not, they will have to move their clip off the red carpet and receive a fine.
