It is hard to believe (and yes I do feel old!) that this is my 25th year of teaching. I come from a family of teachers and there was never any doubt that education would be my career.
I am a Cobb County Native and attended Cobb County Schools all of my life. I went to elementary school at LaBelle where my mother taught, then Bells Ferry. I attended J.J. Daniell Middle School and Sprayberry High. I did my undergraduate work at Kennesaw State University way back when it was Kennesaw College. I even helped start a sorority there. I received my Masters and Specialists degrees from West Georgia. My first job was at Garrison Mill Elementary in 4th grade. Since then, I have taught at Bryant and Acworth Elementary in 2nd through 5th grade and EIP.
I have three wonderful and busy children. Mayson is in 6th grade, my baby, Semmie, is in 2nd this year and my oldest, Eason, is in 9th at Allatoona. We reside with our dogs Ben (lab) and Leo (Papillon). Needless to say it is never a dull moment as we play baseball, softball and cheer. We love to swim, go to the movies, hang out with our terrific neighbors and grill out.
I have been at Frey since we opened the doors in 1996. It is my home and I love my Frey Family. I look forward to getting to know your family too!

MY MISSION FOR THE CLASS
My mission for the class is that everyone feels that they can learn and grow. Each child will be challenged to work to their potential, strive to go beyond, and to feel successful. I believe that it is important for children to learn to think on many different levels and to apply that skill to all areas of their life. Every child will be an integral part of class and realize their importance in our community. It takes a good positive working relationship between school and home to make a difference in a child's life. Together we can achieve and exceed in this mission.
