Our class will be participating in the 2010-2011 BOOK IT! National Incentive Reading Program sponsored by Pizza Hut. This is a six-month program beginning in October. The goal each month is for you and your child to read at least 10 books together. Then at the end of the month, or as soon as you finish, return the monthly reading slip. In return, I will give your child a Pizza Award Certificate (only one certificate per month). Your child can redeem the certificate for a free, one-topping Personal Pan Pizza and a BOOK-IT! card and backpack clip to recognize their achievement.
At the beginning of each month, I will send home that month's reading slip. I hope you enjoy reading together!
