                              Off. Frey wants to get involved! We will
                              donate proceeds from our Chicken Biscuit
                              Sale on Nov. 2 to United Way!

** Dismissal begins at 12:20pm Monday thru Friday.
** there will be no after school enrichment programs (Spanish, Acworth Gallery Art or rocket club) during Conference week.

Scholastic Book Fair Oct. 24 - 28 in the Media Center
Mon: 7:15am - 4:00pm
Tue:  7:15am - 4:00pm
Wed: 7:15am - 6:00pm
Thu:  7:15am - 4:00pm
Fri:   7:15am - 10:00am

Payments accepted by cash, check or debit/credit card.  Check the Teacher "Wish List" board to help buy a book for your child's classroom. 
* Pre-orders will be taken for the new diary of a Wimpy Kid, which is to be released Nov. 15.  The books will be delivered to school on Nov. 14. Cool!  Email questions to jana.ratliff@cobbk12.org.

         Wear jeans and a RED shirt.
Tue:   Be all you can be, stay drug free!
         Wear army attire/camouflage clothes.
Wed:  Sock it to drugs!  Wear mismatched socks.
Thu:   Put a cap on drugs!  Wear a cap/hat to school.
Fri:    Stay in the game, be drug free!
         Wear spirit wear or team jersey.

Friday, Oct. 28 is Picture retake day -

Students must bring in their picture packet if re-taking pictures.  
* Picture Retakes are for students unhappy with their picture.

* A student who was absent on picture day may have
   their picture taken for the year book.
* A student who was absent on picture day may also
   order pictures at this time.
* A student who recently enrolled may have their
   picture taken and/or order at this time.

 

Monday, Oct 31-   *Silly Slippers Day! Donate $1, for United
                               Way, and get to wear your favorite slippers
                                to school.  Thanks for helping support our

CONFERENCE WEEK

Just a reminder that thisweek is Conference Week.  Students will be dismissed at 12:20 pm. Our lunch time will be from 10:38 am  to 11:08 am. I am looking forward to meeting with everyone.

Help us highlight the importance of being healthy and saying no to drugs by having your child wear …

Parents, don't miss out on the Rachel's Challenge Meeting this Thursday at 6:00.  This meeting will inform you about the Rachel's Challenge initiative that Frey is going to be implementing and the reason behind it.  This meeting is for PARENTS ONLY due to the content shown and discussed.  If you need to bring your children, we will have a movie room for them to go to.  The students will have their Assembly for Rachel's Challenge during the day on Thursday that is age appropriate. 

We promise you'll walk away with a new perspective on kindness and in helping us START A CHAIN REACTION!!!!

 What a great Frey's Fall Festival!! It great to see so many of you having  fun.  Thank you so much to our room moms, Mrs. Janney & Mrs. Wootton, for creating our BEAUTIFUL class pumpkin and for our FANTASTIC class basket.

Please remember that the Benjamin Franklin poster is due on Monday, October 10th. During the week your child will present the poster to the class.  It might be helpful to have your child practice sharing the information on the poster at home so he/she will be comfortable when it is time to present.  I look forward to hearing the wonderful presentations!
